‘hello me’ Release and Acknowledgement
When participating in a ‘hello me’ Escape you acknowledge that the organisers have consulted with participants and worked with properties and service providers to package a range of experiences which deliver the Escape objectives. While every care is taken to engage with high quality properties and service providers you acknowledge that the organiser is not liable for the delivery of the activities and services and you are participating voluntarily and agree to assume personal responsibility for your actions and any consequences during the course of an activity. You also acknowledge that neither ‘hello me’, Pro-Team Management P/L nor its employees will have any legal liability to you arising out of loss or damage to person or property, a disruption to travel schedules, accommodation, events or activities as arranged during a "hello me" Escape.

Payment Policy

To reserve a spot on a specified escape, a non-refundable booking fee of $500 is required upon booking. After a confirmation has been emailed to you OR an 'hello me' Escape representative calls you to confirm your reservation, a courtesy hold requires payment within 3 working days to secure the reservation. Full payment (the balance) must be made within 60 days of the escape start date.

Prices are based per person, if sharing with a friend or partner a reduced twin share price is available but DO NOT include flights. Clients must have adequate travel insurance to cover all activities listed.

Travel Insurance

It is your responsibility to organize suitable travel and health insurance but we will be able to help you with this.

Please note, even if you have private health insurance in Australia or your respective Country of residence, it is unlikely that this insurance will cover overseas trips such as the escapes offered by 'hello me' Escape.

Comprehensive Travel Insurance is required when attending any "hello me" escapes that are conducted outside Australia. It is your responsibility to ensure this is in place. 'hello me' is not in the business of providing insurance products and cannot be held liable if your failure to arrange suitable insurance coverage leaves you exposed, medically, financially or otherwise.

'hello me' Cancellations

"Cancellation" is defined as not attending your scheduled escape, including postponing or rescheduling. "You" refers to the guest booking an 'hello me' Escape. "We" refers to 'hello me'. It is your responsibility to read and understand our cancellation policy before making a reservation. Naturally, no one books with the intention of cancelling or postponing their escape, but unexpected things do happen, so please consider purchasing travel cancellation insurance.

Travel Cancellation Insurance
Depending on the policy and conditions, travel cancellation insurance may pay for some or all cancellation fees.

Strictly for informational purposes and not to be relied upon, with most agencies, this type of insurance must be purchased within 14 days of making your reservation to optimize your level of protection.

Guest Cancellation Policy
Depending on when you cancel, cancellation fees may apply. Fees are determined by the following schedule (“the Cancellation fee schedule”):

  • If you cancel 60 days or more before your escape start date, you will be refunded the full escape amount (minus your $500 booking fee).
  • If you cancel 60 days or less before your escape start date, you will forfeit your entire payment.
  • Due to our need to commit to accommodation and other arrangements in advance, exceptions to our policy cannot be made for any reason.
    We do not offer credit for arriving late or leaving early.
    A guest can change to another escape 30 days or before your escape start date for a fee of $250. Please note the escape must have availability.

'hello me' Cancellation Policy
While we have never cancelled an escape to date and will endeavor to maintain this record, if 'hello me' must cancel or change a scheduled escape date for any reason whatsoever, you’re entitled to transfer your full escape payment to another escape (either scheduled or at some future time). Alternatively you may request a refund of your applicable payment, which will be accommodated for insofar as is possible, taking into consideration any non-retrievable costs to which we committed in anticipation of your escape.

'hello me' is not responsible for your expenses incurred in preparation for any cancelled escape such as other accommodation, airline tickets, loss of work, and/or other costs associated with preparing for your trip.

Passports, Visas and Documents
It is the responsibility of each participant to obtain a valid passport, visa(s) and necessary certificates for any country to be visited in connection with an 'hello me' escape.

Third Parties
'hello me' holds no responsibility for the actions or omissions of third parties or independent contractors, including in the event that they modify the nature of a service on a escape as compared with the advertised nature of the service.

Photo / Video Release
I hereby grant to 'hello me' the absolute and irrevocable right and unrestricted permission to use photographic portraits / images / videos in which I feature that are taken during the course of the escape to use / republish / copyright, etc. for commercial use in association with 'hello me'’s business.

I hereby release and discharge 'hello me' from any and all claims and demands arising out of or in connection with the use of the photographs and video footage, including without limitation any and all claims for libel or invasion of privacy.
